Lam's global technical training organization is committed to developing customer knowledge, capability, and technical expertise through effective training courses for the following areas:

•	Hardware training – system operations, maintenance, and advanced troubleshooting
•	Process training – plasma physics, application-specific subjects, and process troubleshooting
•	Software training – use of Lam Research software products in troubleshooting, chamber matching, and tool performance monitoring

Lam Research Training Centers located in Fremont, California; Tualatin, Oregon; Hsinchu, Taiwan; and Villach, Austria are staffed by Company-certified instructors and equipped with the most advanced equipment.
