Corporate Social Responsibility

Lam Research invests in a variety of activities that enhance business performance while also having a positive impact on the communities where we work.  We recognize that the Company has a responsibility to contribute to the aid and support of the vitality of the people and the environments in the regions where we are active.
 
Examples of Corporate Social Responsibility at Lam Research:
 
• Since 2000, the Lam Research Foundation has donated nearly $11 million worldwide to educational initiatives through grants, scholarships, in-kind donations, and other contributions
• Custodial crews use Green Certified cleaning products
• Our shipping materials can be completely reused or recycled into the appropriate region waste recycling streams under the global Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive (RoHS)
• Since 2006, more than 75 percent of the waste produced at the Fremont, California, headquarters campus has been recycled, and we are pursuing partnerships and policies that will increase this percentage
