| Lam Research was one of the first organizations in the semiconductor industry to be registered to the Quality Management System standard, ISO 9001:2000. The registration first occurred in 2001 and is audited continuously by external and internal Assessors. All facilities worldwide adhere to Lam's Quality Management System.
Lam Research also requires that its Suppliers and Outsource Providers adhere to the Company's quality standards. Outsource Providers must sign service-level agreements requiring them to meet requirements for cost, quality, delivery, and technology. |

Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) Lam Research has been registered to the international Environmental Management System standard, ISO 14001:2004 since 2003. As with the Quality Management System, regular audits are performed to validate the system suitability, adequacy, and effectiveness. Lam Research is also a Charter Member of SEMI® Global Care™. This industry-wide initiative establishes a framework for SEMI's diverse membership to strengthen commitments to Product Stewardship and other EH&S issues. Lam’s spin clean division releases annual environmental reports to capture and measure the success of established preservation programs. Lam's aggressive safety program has resulted in one of the lowest injury rates industry-wide. Employee safety is our highest priority.
