Academic Partnerships

Lam Research contributes to local, national, and international organizations that improve the lives of people across the global community and that have an emphasis on education, particularly in math and science. Some of the local organizations we support include:

•	Math/Science Middle School Summer Academy
•	International Science & Engineering Fair 2010
High Tech University (HTU) Lam Research contributes to developing a local high-tech workforce by working with Fremont-area high schools, San Jose State University, and the SEMI Foundation.  To date Lam Research has hosted and been the principal sponsor of five High Tech U programs, each attended by over 120 students from area high schools.  Lam Research employees lead math and science activities with 10th and 11th grade students during this event, held at our Fremont campus.  We also cosponsor High Tech U events in Europe and Asia.
University Partnerships Lam Research partners with universities worldwide on research that is changing the face of high technology, on values-based business practices, and on management and leadership training for technologists.  Our partners include:
